Industrial Pharmacy Short Course
The Kilimanjaro School of Pharmacy (KSP) is hosting a Short Course in Industrial Pharmacy designed to enhance the knowledge and practical competencies of pharmaceutical personnel and professionals in related fields. This program focuses on a comprehensive understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and their practical application in pharmaceutical production.
Participants will explore GMP principles, regulatory expectations, and quality systems that ensure consistent product quality and patient safety. A key highlight of the course is the live tablet manufacturing session, where attendees will actively participate in the production of tablets—covering processes such as granulation, compression, and quality testing—providing direct, hands-on experience in an industrial GMP environment.

PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUNDING LABORATORY for Nonsterile preparation practical’s e.g. solutions, Mixtures, ointment, Creams, Pastes. 
INDUSTRIAL PHARMACY TEACHING UNIT For Tablets production practical’s 
COMPUTER LABORATORY for imparting computer knowledge and skills 
STERILE PREPARATIONS TEACHING LABORATORY for Infusions and eye drops preparations practical 
QUALITY CONTROL LABORATORY for quality tests and analysis of Finished Pharmaceutical Products.
